Dutch Specials presenteert nieuw Kroonjuweel kwekerij de Kabel
Kwekerij de Kabel is met het unieke trostomaatje Bliss lid geworden van Dutch Specials. Dutch Specials is een samenwerking van telers van speciale groenten en fruit. Bliss is een mini-pruimtrostomaat en een waardevolle toevoeging op het assortiment van Dutch Specials. 
Kwekerij de Kabel
Kwekerij de Kabel staat voor Joost Barendse en Richard Hartensveld, twee jonge, ambitieuze ondernemers die op 18 hectare tomaten telen in De Lier, waaronder het bijzondere mini-pruimtrostomaat Bliss. Naast Bliss, teelt Kwekerij de Kabel ook Brioso (cocktail) en Cappricia (middel grove segment). Jaarrond belevert Kwekerij de Kabel klanten met een smaakvol en kwalitatief hoogstaand product. De tomaten van Kwekerij de Kabel worden afgezet via Prominent.
Bliss, een echte smaakbeleving
Sinds een aantal jaren teelt Kwekerij de Kabel het mini-pruimtrostomaatje Bliss. Bliss heeft een heerlijke aromatische frisse smaak. Het is dan ook een heerlijk tomaatje om tussendoor te snacken. De stevige bite, ovale vorm en glanzende dieprode kleur zorgt er voor dat Bliss een echte smaakbeleving is.
Kennis- en netwerkplatform
Vanaf 2016 is Kwekerij de Kabel lid geworden van Dutch Specials. Richard Hartensveld: “Eind 2015 zijn we benaderd voor lidmaatschap van Dutch Specials en we waren direct enthousiast. We zien het als grote toegevoegde waarde om met gelijkgestemde ondernemers ervaringen, kennis en contacten met elkaar te delen. Dutch Specials is een unieke club van ondernemers, waar we graag lid van wilden worden.”
De focus van Kwekerij de Kabel is altijd gericht op smaak, topkwaliteit en duurzaamheid. Dat past goed bij Dutch Specials en haar leden. Dutch Specials richt zich op de out of home markt. “Onze producten zijn voor dit segment ook interessant.”, aldus Richard. De out-of-home markt is ook één van de uitgangspunten in het jaarprogramma van Dutch Specials. In dit kader worden verschillende themabijeenkomsten en klantbezoeken georganiseerd bij toonaangevende bedrijven.
